Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko
yesterday clashed with Nairobi
Women representative, Rachael
Shebesh, in public over the
pending assault case with
Governor Evans Kidero.
The two clashed right in front of
Deputy President William Ruto
during the homecoming party of
Dandora MP, James Mwangi, after
Shebesh referred to Sonko as one
of Kidero’s brokers.
Shebesh accused Sonko of trying to
force her to forgive Kidero when
the Governor himself had not
asked for forgiveness.
She noted that she will never
forgive Kidero for slapping her
because he has proved not to be
man enough to face her instead
choosing to use brokers like Mike
Sonko to seek her forgiveness.
“I was taught forgiveness and I
know how to forgive. I do not need
to be taught that by brokers like
Sonko”, she said.
However, Shebesh’s sentiments
didn’t go down well with Sonko,
who dismissed them, saying he
was not Kidero’s broker and that
Shebesh should know better.
He warned the two to reconcile or
else he would mobilize people to
remove them from office by force.
“I am not Kidero’s broker but the
two of you must reconcile whether
you like it or not because the
picture you are portraying is not
good for Mwananchi to realize
development”, Sonko said.
The Nairobi Senator challenged
Kidero to give Shebesh the amount
of money she demanded (sh100
million) to end the impasse.
