Thika MP, Alice Ng’ang’a, has
now claimed that her life is in
danger after unknown people
started sending her death threats
in her phone.
While recording statement at
Thika Police Station on Tuesday,
Alice said Kiambu Governor,
William Kabogo, might be the one
who is sending his goons to
threaten her.
She however vowed she won’t be
cowed by the Governor since she
is fighting for the rights of her
constituents who elected her into
office during the March 4 th
elections.
“I refuse to be intimidated by
anyone and as long as the County
Government continues to impose
unreasonable charges and taxes
on my people, I will fight”
Wahome said.
Meanwhile, Maendeleo ya
Wanawake Organisation has
asked Governor Kabogo to
apologise to all Kenyan women for
making “demeaning utterances”
about women or face a
demonstration.
Last week at a function in Kiambu
County, Kabogo allegedly said
unmarried women above 35 were
not fit for public office.
