Discontinuation of the Students’ Shuttle Service

The Students’ Shuttle Service was initiated in January 2011 after consultations between the University Management and KUSA leadership.  It was began on the understanding that students would subscribe in large numbers to enable the service to sustain itself without any subsidy from the University.  It was essentially to run on the principle of economics of scale.  Since then, however, the numbers of subscribing students has continued to decline, making the service untenable.

This is, therefore, to inform all students that the Shuttle Services provided by Holiday Cars and Tours from the Main Campus, to parklands, Ruiru and City Campuses will no longer be available because of the above reasons.  This is effective September 2013.

Students are hereby informed in advance to make their parents and guardians aware of this development, and to make personal arrangements for transport during the semester.
