WE’LL BE READY FOR YOU: Liverpool custodian MIGNOLET fires warning shot to League Leaders ARSENAL ahead of Saturday’s crunch clash.

Tuesday, February 04, 2014 -
Liverpool goalkeeper, Simon
Mignolet, has warned League
leaders Arsenal to expect a tough
match when they visit Anfield on
Saturday.
Arsene Wenger’s charges face a
tricky trip to the Red half of
Merseyside as they seek to
maintain their lead at the top of
the Premier League table and the
Belgian international says they will
be ‘ready’ for the Gunners.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo
Mignolet said : "We have to look
forward and now we have a
massive game at home next
weekend. We have a whole week
to prepare and ensure we are
ready.
"We have to look at ourselves and
make sure we do the things we
want to do. We'll take the
positives and negatives from West
Brom and look forward to the next
game.
"Unfortunately we didn't manage
to get the three points but we're
still in fourth position."
Liverpool were held to a 1-1
premier League draw by West
Bromwich Albion on Sunday
afternoon.

UHURU KENYATTA will lose the 2017 Presidential Elections badly, RUTO is being used by the KIKUYU - URP rebel, ALFRED KETER, says

Tuesday February 4, 2014 - Nandi
Hills MP, Alfred Keter, has
sensationally said President Uhuru
Kenyatta will lose the 2017
Presidential election badly.
Speaking at Lessos Primary school
during a thanksgiving ceremony
for last year’s KCPE candidates
over the weekend, Keter said
Uhuru will be a one term
president because of the way his
Government is engaging in acts of
corruption and promoting
impunity.
Keter cited the controversial
standard gauge railway tender
and the looming laptop tender
scandal saying President Kenyatta
and his Deputy, William Ruto,
have lost touch with Kenyan
masses who voted them into office
in the last poll.
The fiery lawmaker also repeated
his claims that taxpayers will lose
Sh400 billion in the railway project
and said it should be stopped until
investigations are completed.
“Voters may reject the Jubilee
Government due to corruption.
Kenyans are tired of high levels
corruption which the two leaders
must address instead of being
misled that Jubilee will rule for 20
years,” Keter said.
He also alleged that there is a plot
hatched by Mt Kenya mafia to
dump Ruto before the 2017
Presidential election.
The MP said Ruto was “used” to
announce the unpopular news of
civil servants’ retrenchments so
that he can be crucified the same
way former Prime Minister, Raila
Odinga, was crucified in the
“infamous Mau forest “eviction
during the Coalition Government

I have over 10 new ICC WITNESSES in UHURU KENYATTA’s case - BENSOUDA throws a bombshell

Tuesday February 4, 2014 - The
International Criminal Court (ICC)
Chief Prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda,
on Monday shocked President
Uhuru Kenyatta’s defence, after
she said that she had 10 new
witnesses who are ready to testify
against Kenya’s Head of State.
In an urgent application to the
Trial Chamber V (b) judges,
Bensouda, who is a Gambian
national, said she will request the
judges during the status
conference on Wednesday to allow
her introduce ten new witnesses
in Uhuru’s case.
But an ICC insider who requested
anonymity said Bensouda is trying
to salvage an already lost case,
since all indications are that
Uhuru’s case is dead.
“Bensouda should simply dismiss
this case and move on, these flimsy
excuses and innuendos she is
trying to invoke will never salvage
Uhuru’s ICC case, the case is as
good as dead,” the insider said.
On Wednesday, Uhuru’s case
enters a defining moment during
a crucial hearing where his
lawyers will argue for termination
of his trial.
Uhuru’s physical presence is not
required at the Status Conference
scheduled for Wednesday
morning.

A MUST READ!A letter from Vincent Oketch to K.U students. Can he be the next Kenya's big thing in politics !?

By Vincent Oketch

K.U Comrades,we don't need
to blame anyone, lets do it on
our own. Leaders are there to
guide but we can become
successful by leading
ourselves too.
I suppose leadership at one
time meant popular and
known;but today it means
getting along with people,at
one point our valued
comrades went to the polls to
elect their best leaders with
lot of expectation. But with
sudden measure,people are
complaining. Maybe your
leaders are working on
modalities to serve,you never
know,they are.
When some candidates were
stopped from going to their
desired seats and serve the
students,maybe there was a
reason behind it,true leaders
who commence on serving
student are always sacrificed
with K.U but know what you
want, you can be a leader to
those who believe in
you,outside K.U there is also
a chance to lead.
Comrades to me,when I
needed a chance to lead,I had
a plan to change lives, think of
it,when we concentrate too
much on people who doesn't
add value to your life and only
care about themselves,we
waste a lot of time. Stop
waiting for K.U.S.A,reinstated
your life. At one point you will
graduate and become
successful outside,leave the
way for those stopping your
ability.
Am still passionate to serve
comrades and in September
my candidature is
confirmed,if am blocked for
the second time,I won't
shade tears,but leave the jigs
of power to roll. Take a look
of your life and realize this;
Have you ever made a list of
what you want from life?
From the kind of career you
work at to the kind of income
you enjoy ...to your
relationships, your health,
your vacations, material
possessions, spiritual well-
being and more?
If you haven't, it may surprise
you to know that simply
deciding what you want is the
often first and most
important step to getting it.
It's true. Our brain is a goal-
seeking organism. In fact,
scientists now know the brain
uses its own reticular
activating system to filter
through the millions of
images, sounds, impressions
and other messages we
receive each day - to let into
our conscious mind only that
information we need to
survive or meet goals we have
identified.
When you decide what you
want, you instruct the brain
to start looking for
information, resources,
opportunities and other ways
to achieve the "want" you've
identified. While this may
sound like an impossibility
given your current situation
or circumstances, we've seen
countless individuals
"suddenly" get what they
want--often from a source or
opportunity that already
existed in their life or sphere
of influence. They had just
never instructed their brain to
find it before.

Regards
Vincent Oketch.

Kalenjins tell Uhuru to back Ruto for 2017 or risk CORD defeat

By Tagawah

Deputy President William Ruto fired another salvo to the Mt Kenya Mafia insisting the Jubilee government cannot win three consecutive elections.
Uhuru last year indicated that he
will go for the 10 years before Ruto dreams of owning State House. However, with the disastrous manner in which the Jubilee government has run public affairs, with sky-rocketing Standard of living, tribalism and mega corruption, it is a gone conclusion that Kenyans, known for pulling firsts, will not vote in the Jubilee Alliance three times consecutively.According to insiders, the Kalenjins are said to have categorically told Ruto to be at the ballot come 2017 and demand that Mt. Kenya backs
him; that way, he can too test the
whether the Kikuyus are ‘genuine
friends’ and, finally, he too can also have a look at those who fixed him at the Hague like Uhuru has done.
This will lead to the final
reconciliation and bring the ghosts
of the 2007 violence to rest.
Ruto’s statements were carried by
his hatchet man, the rebellious
Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter, who
told Uhuru to forgo his second term and back Ruto, then get back to the presidency in 2023.
Keter warned that with the high-
handedness in the Jubilee
administration, skewed employment and grand corruption, it is a pipe
dream that Ruto will be voted in
after Uhuru in 2013. So, the early
the better!
This negotiated democracy has
worked in Russia where Putin and
Meldev occasionally rotate who
becomes the President and who
serves as the Prime Minister just
between the two of them.
It can happen. If Mt. Kenya backs
Ruto in 2017 to a man, assuming
Uhuru agrees to this arrangement; it consolidate the whole Kalenjin vote bloc and once again (with a little rigging of course) Jubilee may maintain their hold on power.
But this arrangement will face the
first opposition by the Mt. Kenya
Mafia. It is no secret that mosts
Kikuyus are still apprehensive about the person of William Ruto.
Averag Kikuyus shudder at the
thought of Ruto being the
commander-in-chief more than even CORD leader Raila Odinga, or
Kalonzo Musyoka. Meaning, Ruto
must get express endorsement and heavy backing of the Kikuyu elites who will then, in the usual fashion, whip the holoi poloi of the house of Mumbi in voting line.
But assuming Peter Kennneth
becomes a spoiler, and gets ‘hidden’ backing of Uhuru as happened when Uhuru backed Kibaki in 2002 while
pretending to be himself a
presidential candidate; Ruto may
never make it, which will make
kalenjins be very mad and the
Kikuyu diaspora in the Rift Valley be very afraid.

Manchester City V Chelsea – Team News, Tactics, Line- ups And Predictions

By Tagawah
MANCHESTER CITY
v
CHELSEA FC
The Etihad Stadium, Manchester
03 February 2014, 2300HRS
***
The Manchester City
juggernaut shows no signs of
slowing down as an almost
apologetic Spurs boss Tim
Sherwood, still reeling from
the 5-1 thrashing Pellegrini
inflicted on him, publicly
acknowledged City’s top-dog
status on the planet. If it was
meant as a subtle dig at
Chelsea manager Jose
Mourinho, it certainly worked.
Mourinho’s instant riposte that
Sherwood probably mistook
England for the whole planet,
was classic Mourinho at his
finest. But it also betrayed
Mourinho’s increasing
exasperation with his team’s
fortunes. In what should have
been a routine day at the office,
Chelsea managed to gift West
Ham with a 0-0 draw. It
certainly didn’t help Chelsea’s
cause that the West Ham ten
packed themselves like
sardines in front of goal, but
Mourinho must surely feel a
pang of hypocrisy if he chooses
the same tactics at the Etihad.
It’s almost certain Mourinho
would be extremely pleased
with a scoreless draw that
keeps him within striking
range of the top 2 sides. But an
Aguero-less Manchester City
side are suddenly just that little
bit less threatening in front of
goal, even if Chelsea’s offense
have been a shambles this
season. Chelsea are unlikely to
score more than a goal in this
clash, and it will fall upon the
battle-weary shoulders of Terry
et al to keep Manchester City
from scoring more.
What better way to bring this
week’s clashes to a close, than
one between the most
attacking side in the league
and the most resilient.
Team News and Tactics
Manchester City
The absence of Aguero cannot
be good news, but it certainly
won’t be giving Manchester
City’s owners sleepless nights.
In the romp against Tottenham,
all 5 goals came about courtesy
5 different players. While City
surely aren’t lacking the
resources to put this game to
bed, Agueros’ presence and
sense of attacking intent clearly
terrorized opposition defenses
all season long.
Samir Nasri, former Arsenal
star and current Manchester
City lost soul, will also fail to
make an appearance in the
game along with the likes of
Javi Garcia and a doubtful
James Milner. Expect some
combination of Dzeko and
either Jovetic or Negredo to
torture Chelsea’s central
defense pairing with repeated
runs at the goal.
With Pellegrini having set up
his side to attack from virtually
every angle, Manchester City
are likely to hold the lion’s
share of possession with Davd
Silva playing an especially vital
role on the left flank. Against a
defensive Chelsea side, Silva
will likely be given the license
to roam while the
responsibility of collecting a
stray ball in midfield will fall to
Yaya Toure, and the agile
Fernandinho.

Expected starting line-up
(4-4-2) : Hart (GK); Kompany,
Zabaleta, Clichy, DeMichelis;
Navas, Fernandinho, Toure, Silva;
Dzeko, Jovetic.

Chelsea FC
Chelsea will likely employ a 5-
man midfield to starve City of
the space it needs. The obvious
flaw with this plan is that in an
increasingly crowded midfield,
the likelihood of Hazard and
Oscar getting a break to work
their magic is unlikely. Terry
and Cahill will be expected to
hold the central defensive
pairing position, with Mikel
likely to sit right ahead of
them.
Hazard and Oscar will likely
have company in the form of
Salah, who might just warrant
a day at the games, being the
only one of Mourinho’s players
whose strengths and
weaknesses have been already
studied by the rest of the
Premier League. Willian may
just sit some portion of this
encounter out, if Salah’s ability
to run tangentially to his
opponents is given its due
consideration. Frank Lampard
will stay deeper than usual, to
provide the unpredictable
Mikel some additional cover.
In Torres’ extended absence,
Samuel Eto’o will feature as
Chelsea’s sole attacking threat,
and will be entrusted with
poaching a goal in the
unlikeliest of circumstances or
whenever City’s unharried
defense fail to turn on at the
right time.

Expected starting line-up
(4-5-1) : Cech (GK); Cole, Terry,
Cahill, Azpilicueta; Lampard,
Mikel, Hazard, Oscar, Salah;
Eto’o

Key Facts
1. Chelsea have not conceded
a goal in their last 3 away
games
2. Manchester City have
clearly the upper hand,
winning 3 of the past 5
encounters, and drawing
one
3. City have scored more goals
so far – 68 – than they did
all of last season.

Prediction
City 2-1 Chelsea
The home team pack too much
firepower to let Chelsea off the
hook. The West London Blues’
defense will likely perform at
their best, but Pellegrini’s men
will eventually find a way to
score two quick goals.
