Manchester City's Manuel Pellegrini ignores Jose Mourinho's mind games

(The Mirror) Manuel Pellegrini has
dismissed Jose Mourinho’s latest bid
to pile the pressure onto Manchester
City insisting: “Intelligent managers
don’t play mind games”.
Pellegrini's City side blew the chance
to go top on Saturday by only drawing
at Arsenal after Chelsea were
surprisingly beaten at struggling
Crystal Palace hours earlier.
Mourinho then claimed that, with two
games in hand on their top-four rivals,
City were red-hot favourites and his
Chelsea team no-hopers.
But Pellegrini said: “I don’t know if you
think that managers that seems to play
mind games are more intelligent. I
don’t think so.
“Its not my duty to respond to what
Mourinho says. My way of thinking is
that the four teams will have the same
options to win the title.”

Mudavadi CRITICISES Uhuru SPEECH terms it ‘CRAP’, says government is TRIBAL and Corrupt ! wow, tiny BALLS emerging?

HURAAAY some tiny balls are emerging, former
deputy PM has offered a stinging criticism on Uhuru’s
state of the nation address!
True to his nature former deputy prime minister
Musalia Mudavadi has mildly criticized President
Uhuru Kenyatta’s state of the nation (two tribe
government) address to Bunge last week.
Mudavadi started by defending Uhuru but then
half-way through offered HEAVY CRITICISM that
shocked many especially those in government.
Here is HOW the NATION reported the story:>>
…………………………………………………………………
………The former deputy Prime Minister said
given the context of implementing the
constitution “and an ambitious experiment to
reconfigure the Executive administration, the
president was within his limitations to talk about
what he is doing rather than what he has done.
Mr Mudavadi however said the formation and
reorganisation of government has taken too long,
has been ad hoc and seems caught up in impacts
of piece meal hesitation.
“There
seems to be
an impasse
on this,
which then
has
affected
coherence.
But there
are areas
where he
could have
been
succinct in
the spirit of “ought to” have done because
they have been within his remit in the first
year even as he grappled with reorganisation
of government,” he said.
He said domestic security is one area in which
President Kenyatta could have explored why it is
spiralling out of control of agencies.
“He did report on capacity building —
vehicles, housing, insurance for police. But in
acknowledging lack of coordination among
agencies he missed opportunity to state what
interventions he has on board.
On this, the public is more interested in
concrete measures than his sharing the
identified problem with them,” Mr Mudavadi
said.
The former Sabatia MP said President Kenyatta’s
reference was more on external facets of the
security architecture.
He said President Kenyatta’s defence of the VAT
Act without outlining measures to cushion the
people against the high cost of living was
unfortunate.
“The appeal for religious piety in suffering VAT
impact on cost of living now for unspecified
heavenly rewards later isn’t redemption,” Mr
Mudavadi said.
He said the Head of State was also
“suspiciously” economical on corruption.
“It reflects a dilemma given his recent bold
statements on ingrained corruption within his
own office, and suspect revelations about the
laptop and Standard Gauge Railway projects.”
He said the Jubilee government rose on the
crest of national reconciliation and integration
and that it was also expected to do better on
the matter.
“IDP settlement and welfare perks are clean-up
responses inherited from the last regime. What
is at stake is negative public perception that
government is a two-community affair. This is
homework that he needs to deliver.”
WOW! This is super critism, Mudavadi talking
tough on corruption, saying not reducing VAT
was UNFORTUNATE and says Uhuru Goverment
is a two TRIBE that the president needs to work
on hahahaha Mudavadi is indeed MESSY ! Talk of
signs of growing BALLS!

Arsenal V Manchester City – Team News, Tactics, Line-ups And Prediction

Arsenal host Manchester City in
what was once being looked
upon as a major humdinger
and title deciding cliffhanger.
Most of that still remains true
but only and purely for the
away side who are gathering
momentum ahead of a tricky
run-in. Arsenal meanwhile
have dropped from title
contenders to 4th place
favourites and will be hoping to
preserve their unbeaten streak
at home in the league since the
opening day
Arsenal’s form has been
woeful in the month of March
and despite playing in front of
their own fans will start as
underdogs. With Everton and
Spurs 6 and 7 points behind
with a game in hand here and
there, the Gunners hardly have
any room to breathe. The Sky
Blues from Manchester have
higher goals to reach and
bigger fish to fry and come in
to this game buoyed by 3
straight wins since their
double cup debacle. With 2
games in hand and only the
league to focus on, Pellegrini’s
side would be hoping to keep
up their winning momentum in
the Chielean’s bid to win the
league in his first season in
charge becoming the first
manager to do so since
Mourinho won the trophy back
in 2005. Arsene Wenger on his
part looks to be under
enormous pressure to take the
Gunners out of this rut and will
need something special from
his players if they are to take
anything from the game
Team news and tactics
Arsenal
Injuries and Arsenal Football
Club are synonymous and this
season is no different. Arsenal
have been without Ozil,
Ramsey, Walcott and Wilshere
for most of their recent crunch
games and the toll such major
injuries have on the side are is
more than visible. To add to
their misery now Laurent
Koscielny is expected to be out
for another fortnight or more.
Not much has changed on the
injury front that way except
for Kallstrom who is now fully
fit though his match fitness
remains under doubt having
not played a single minute
since his move to London.
With confidence at rock bottom
and such a limited set of
players to choose from, it will
be no surprise to see fatigue
creeping into the Gunners both
mentally and physically. The
manager will have his hands
full in trying to raise the team
morale and make the team
believe in themselves once
again. Apart from that Wenger
himself needs to get his tactics
right with Arsenal being
abysmal in most of the big
teams this season and not
everyone of them was merely
an accident.
With an injury depleted side to
pick from, the starting eleven
will again mostly choose itself.
There aren’t many changes
expected from the team that
drew vs Swansea. Podolski’s
impressive cameo on Tuesday
night might earn him a starting
spot in place of Oxlade
Chamberlain who has looked
out of sorts in the past 2
matches for obvious reasons
and a rest might reinvigorate
him. A front 4 of Cazorla
Podolski Rosicky and Giroud is
strong enough on paper but
the attack has lacked cohesion
for sometime now and has
often been berated for the lack
of any willing runners either
from deep or down the flanks.
Gibbs and Podolski combined
well on Tuesday after the
latter’s substitution and
Wenger would be looking to
blossom the partnership on
Saturday as well trying to get
in behind City down their right
hand side. The midfield battle
might cost Arsenal however
with 2 powerhouses in
Fernandinho and Yaya Toure
facing Arteta and Flamini who
have looked bypassable to say
the least. An extra bit of
protection from Cazorla and
Rosicky will be key to decide
which side the needle swings
eventually.
Expected starting line-up
(4-2-3-1): Szczesny(GK); Sagna,
Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs;
Arteta, Flamini; Cazorla, Rosicky,
Podolski; Giroud

Manchester City
Manchester City aren’t devoid
of injury problems themselves
with Sergio Aguero being one
of the most frequent visitors to
the treatment table. The
Argentine is regaining his
fitness but will be short of the
Saturday night match against
the Gunners. Nastasic and
Richards remain out while
Jovetic returns and will mostly
feature on the bench. Other
than that there are no fresh
injury concerns with Dzeko’s
illness being misreported
earlier.

Pellegrini’s men gave a good
account of their title credentials
in the Manchester derby and
Edin Dzeko played a central
part in the win and will
naturally get the nod for a start
on Saturday evening.
Negredo’s poor run of form
and Jovetic’s recurrent injuries
means Dzeko has a real good
chance to seal his place by the
time Aguero returns. The rest
of the side will probably remain
unchanged with Nasri Silva
Navas starting in attacking
midfield positions behind the
Bosnian. Those 3 will keep the
Arsenal backline on their toes
and if in top gear might turn
up to embarrass the Gunners
who have looked clueless
against sides that press high up
with pace and players with
quick feet.
Fernandinho and Yaya Toure
will form the City pivot and
with Toure scoring for fun this
season, Arteta and Flamini will
need to stop him in his
advances and break play as
often as possible. The only
weak spot in the Man city side
is in central defence but with
Giroud leading the Arsenal line
and not much pace expected in
the starting eleven, there
shouldn’t be any cause for
concern.
Zabaleta-Navas have been
destructive in the past and this
could be another such
opportunity for the duo who
like to run at the defence from
the wings. With Podolski not
the best at shoring and
assisting the left back, this is
the area of the pitch that might
see the best chances being
created from, both for Arsenal
and City.
Expected starting line-up
(4-2-3-1): Hart (GK); Zabaleta,
Demichelis, Kompany, Clichy;
Yaya Toure, Fernandinho; Nasri,
Silva, Navas; Dzeko
Players to watch-out
for: Yaya Toure (Man City),
Lukas Podolski (Arsenal)
Prediction: Arsenal 1-2 Man
City

As CORD leader Raila Odinga
continues with his extended stay in
USA and taking his time off to flex
his muscles,someone is allegedly
flexing his muscles on the ODM's
party leader Facebook page. The
allegations of the page being
hacked comes only hours following
suspicious and alarming updates
made on the page taken by many as
Raila's official Facebook page. The
updates from the 'impostor' reads
Raila Odinga
Yesterday
A storm is coming...
and
Raila Odinga
Yesterday

These updates has caused talks
across the streets as to what the
politician could be having in store
amounting to a STORM. While the

sky rocket, one of the Raila's men

could possibly be the answer to the
suspicious updates from the

Robert Alai Onyango
Ok. Let me tell you what is
happening with Raila

holding the account illegally.
The man has been demanding
that Raila Odinga pay him
around $42,000 as he is now
in control of the Facebook
page or he will use the page
to cause damage to Raila's
personal reputation.
So the police and NSIS knows
about this and Facebook
security has been informed.
Raila Odinga is waiting for
action from the security
agencies to shut down the
page.
The said Aron Shaviv is said to
be known to one Apollo
Orengo and no one else.
All these comes at a time when the
CORD leader is out of the country

Missing Malaysia Airlines flight 'was flown to Taliban-controlled area to be used at a later date'

Missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370 could now be in a Taliban-controlled base on the Afghanistan and north west Pakistan
border, it has been claimed.
The search, now covering 11 countries, has so far offered very few clues on the whereabouts of the Boeing 777 which
disappeared nine days ago from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
Experts are now in agreement that the plane was hijacked or
sabotaged and one theory that has been put forward is that it is
being kept in a Taliban area ready for use at a later date, according
to the Independent.
The plane is believed to have flown either to the north west from the Malaysian peninsula or south west.
If it was the former, then it could be in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan or Tajikistan.
As part of the investigation police are looking into the backgrounds of captain Zaharie Ahmed Shah, 53, and co-pilot Fariq
Abdul Hamid, 27, and their homes have been searched.
Analysis is also taking place on flight simulators built by Mr Shah and found at his home.
A flight engineer who was a passenger on the plane is also being investigated.
Malaysian national Mohd Khairul Mari Selamat, 29, is believed to have worked for a private charter jet company and is being
probed as authorities look into anyone who had technical flying knowledge.

UHURU and RUTO cancel Jicho Pevu expose that would have shown the world how March 4th elections were rigged.

The
Jubilee Government has cancelled
the long awaited Jicho Pevu that
would have revealed how the
March 4th elections were rigged
in favour of President Uhuru
Kenyatta and his deputy, William
Ruto.
This came after President Uhuru
Kenyatta and his Deputy, William
Ruto, summoned senior Standard
Group Management to State House
where they urged them to kill
their intentions of airing the
controversial documentary.
The documentary was prepared by
KTN’s investigative journalists,
Mohammed Ali and John Allan
Namu, and it would have shed
light on the conspiracies and
intrigues that rocked the March
4th election.
Despite President Uhuru Kenyatta
winning the March 4th election
narrowly, many supporters of
former Prime Minister, Raila
Odinga, still believe that their
victory was stolen by President
Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy,
William Ruto, and the Jicho Pevu
expose was their final jury
Is the move by the Jubilee
Government to cancel the expose
in order?

THE FIVE MOST NOTORIOUS CAMPUS HOSTELS FOR CASUAL SEX IN KENYA! K.U leading ¡

Here is a list of the five hostels from
various universities that are
notorious for cohabiting, casual
romps and rape cases;
1. Buruburu, Ruwenzori (Egerton
University)
Students are commonly seen every
morning — especially on Fridays and
weekends — trooping from
Buruburu block hostels, their shukas
draped around their heads to hide
their identities as they take the ‘walk
of shame.’
Ruwenzori hostels are no different.
Nurses at the sanatorium hinted that
increased demand for pills and
condoms could be as a result of the
cohabitation at the hostels.
2. Nyayo 3&4, Ngong,
Kilimambogo(KU)
The three hostels have been
exchanging titles on which is
deadliest. Nyayo 3&4, which hosts
senior students, leads the pack.
Kilimambogo has single rooms and
is thus a good ground for students
playing cha baba na mama. Ngong,
the infamous ladies’ hostel in KU,
hosts many men from outside the
Campus. They have their cars
parked outside — to communicate
their presence and status.
3. Mamlaka, Hall 6&9 (UoN)
Sight of female students washing
men’s jeans outside Mamlaka Hall
tells a lot. Hall 6 and 9 (famous as
Box) are notorious for ogling at girls
passing by.
4. Nigeria, Hostels F&J (Moi
University)
It is rumoured that many innocent
first years girls have lost their
innocence in these walls.
Young girls have been lured into sex
and other illicit practices like drug
and alcohol abuse. Many become
convicts of that ‘religion’.
5. Nyati (JKUAT)
Just as the name goes, the hostel
has a cocktail of ‘Nyati characters’.
The hostel allegedly hosts many
external female students since it has a shortage of girls as few female
students take engineering courses.

Is He or She The One? 10 Things to Consider

You Respect and Admire
Each Other.

Our beloved should be our biggest
cheerleader. They see the best in us, appreciating and focusing on our good qualities. If you are with
someone who respects you deeply as a unique individual, this is a critical component to a healthy relationship.

They Know What Makes
You Happy.
If your partner is aware and insightful enough to know how to brighten your spirits after a very long day, this means they understand you pretty well (and they pay attention too!). We
are ultimately all responsible for our own happiness, but it is comforting to know that you are with someone who observes when you might need a little happy boost - and knows exactly what to do.

They Manage Conflict and
Stressful Situations Well.
One woman told us she knew her
guy was "the one" when he spent the entire weekend helping her clean out her aunt's home (who had been a hoarder and suffered from dementia). He didn't have one complaint or critique, and spent hours assisting her in any way he could. He was even able to make light of the situation, and just handled a potentially draining and difficult experience with maturity and patience. Having someone by your side who is wise enough to go with the flow is invaluable.

There's Minimal Drama.
If you share values and a general
compatibility, things should flow fairly steadily. This is the way a healthy relationship should be... and a sign that you are a great match. If there is constant battling or butting heads
over an extended period of time, you have to ask yourself, "Is this what I want to spend my energy on for the rest of my life?"

They Inspire You to Be the
Best Version of Yourself.
When someone comes along who
really believes in you and encourages you to shoot for the moon, this is a sign that they are not only wonderful
-- but a great partner. We can all use some positive support, and having that in your relationship is like uncovering a rare gemstone.
You are Both Comfortable
Being Yourselves
We asked a guy how he knew his wife was the one...and he told us his grandmother gave him some sage advice: "As soon as you meet a girl that rides a bike, you'll marry her."
The bigger point here is that both
men and women love being with
someone who can let their guard
down, be authentic, and reveal who they truly are. There are no games and no pretenses. And they are willing to ride a bike - and not look perfect on that first date!

They've Got Your Back.
Life can get dramatic at times - as
much as we'd like to avoid it. Is your partner unwavering in supporting you? Are they there to help you pick up the pieces - whether it's a bad day
or something far more serious? Do they listen to you without judgment (or criticism) when you need an ear?
Then you are very lucky.
You Share Life Priorities
and Values She might love vanilla, while you like strawberry, and that's cool. But when it comes to fundamental beliefs, it is
a beautiful thing if the two of you are on the same page. Do you both highly value things like honesty, generosity, health, family, and kindness to others? Then you are on the right track...

They Own Their 'Stuff' -
and Don't Expect You to
Solve their Problems.
We've all got baggage. The willingness to own it, work on it, embrace it and not be afraid to look at how we can improve ourselves is a highly desirable trait in a partner. This
person knows that they are
responsible for their choices -- and don't expect you to fix or fulfill them.
Tell us about your experiences with finding "the one." Can someone be "the one" forever - or just through certain phases in your life?

Did Willy Paul Even Sit For His KCSE Exams???

He is one of those artist that
people honestly love to hate,
his success always blurred by
his scandals the latest being
his KCSE results. Last
Monday marked the date
that would determine the
future of the 2013 KCSE
candidates and among them
was none other than gospel
artist Willy Paul who
happened to be the first
celebrity to sit for a National
examination in the public
eye.
Now according to
unconfirmed sources, the
artist might have actually not
sat for his exam. The artist is
said to have been spotted in
town while CRE Paper 2 was
going on. We contacted the
artist to confirm these
allegations and he
vehemently denied them.
He stated that he actually did
sit for his exams but can’t
reveal the actual school that
he sat for his exams for
reasons best known to him.
The ‘Kitanzi’ singer had
earlier revealed that he had
gotten a B+ but did not
release any evidence to
prove that he actually sat for
the papers.

What it takes to get a baby boy

There are various reasons why a couple may
wish to conceive either a baby boy or a girl.
These may include family balance or societal
pressures
Dr Protus Nyongesa, a consultant gynaecologist
says it is the man who determines the sex of a
baby hence; it is out of ignorance to blame a
woman for giving birth to a baby of a particular
gender.
“What any couple needs to understand is that
the sex of a child is determined by
chromosomes. Females have the XX
chromosome while males have the XY
chromosome. If an X bearing sperm fertilises an
egg, a baby girl is conceived and if a Y bearing
sperm fertilises an egg, a baby boy will be
conceived,” says Nyongesa.
He adds that the issue of sex selection is
controversial and difficult to implement. “Issues
of timing are just but a by chance. One will find
common advice on the timing of sexual
intercourse in relation to expected time of
ovulation. However, it’s important to note that
such advice has not been proven to determine
the sex of the baby,” he says.
His sentiments are echoed by Dr Alfred Murage,
a consultant gynaecologist and assistant
professor, Department of Obstetrics and
Gynaecology at the Aga Khan University
Hospital. Dr Murage says sex selection purely
for social reasons has ethical and demographic
dilemmas, and is medically illegal in many
jurisdictions.
However, advanced medical technology and
increasing demand for sex selection have both
created the need for more debate on the
matter.
“There is a push for relaxation of the rules on a
selective basis, and more couples may have a
chance to pre-select the desired sexes of their
children,” says Murage.
According to Murage, more scientifically sound
methods of sex selection are available, but
must be combined with assisted conception
techniques. Y and X bearing sperms can be
separated with laser guided techniques. The
desired sperms can subsequently be
inseminated into the womb, with more than 90
per cent chance of success. Such techniques
have long been used in commercial animal
farming, but have hardly been licensed in
human facilities.
In-vitro fertilisation (IVF) can be combined with
a technique called pre-implantation genetic
diagnosis (PGD) to preselect fertilized eggs
(embryos) of the desired sex. This virtually
guarantees conception with the desired sex,
and has been licensed for many years in cases
where a medical reason for sex selection exists.
However, in Kenya accessing such techniques
for social sex selection is limited by cost and the
law.

Exclusive: – Willy Paul Reveals His KCSE Results!!

Today marks the day when
the Kenya Certificate of
Secondary Education
candidates got to find out
what they had scored and
none was more anxious
than gospel artist Willy, but
with good reason.
The artist became the first
public figure to sit for his
National Examinations in
public and all eyes were on
him with critics suggesting
that he might not do so well
because of his tight
performing schedule.
I bet the critic are biting their
tongues right now since the
‘Lala Salama’ star
scored…..drum rolls
please…….a clean B(Plain).
This comes just days before
he starts his US tour that is
set to kick off in Atlanta.
Congratulations are in
order!!!!

Could ABABU NAMWAMBA be the first LUHYA President that Prophet ELIJAH MASINDE talked of - see how everything in the prophesy suits him

Renowned Luhya
Prophet, the late Elijah Masinde, once told the
Luhya community that their leadership would
come from the lake side.
However, his prophesy has been
misinterpreted right, left and centre without
any conclusive and definite answer and to some
point even trashed as not being prophesy at all.
Some interpreters said that Luhyas would
inherit the Presidency from Luos and to be
specific from former Prime Minister, Raila
Odinga, who comes from the lakeside, as
Prophet Masinde had indicated and even forced
former Deputy Prime Minister, Musalia
Mudavadi, to partner with Raila in 2007 with
the hope that the former PM would pass on the
button to him in 2013 just to fulfill Masinde’s
prophesy.
But, have you stopped to wonder that the
context in which Luhyas have continued to
interpret the prophesy could be wrong? Have
you ever imagined that the Luhya community
could be looking in the wrong direction,
forgetting that Budalangi and Funyula
Constituencies lie squarely along Lake Victoria
and could as well fulfill Masinde’s prophesy.
Well, we cannot talk much of Funyula MP, Paul
Otuoma, because he is nothing compared to
Ababu Namwamba as far as Masinde’s
prophesy is concerned.
The prophesy suits Namwamba to a “T”
considering that despite his Budalangi
Constituency being along Lake Victoria, his
own multi-million home in Budalangi is
situated right on the shows of the Lake
Victoria, begging the question of whether he is
the one the Luhya Prophet was talking about as
the Luhya Presidency coming from the
lakeside.
Besides, just coming from the lakeside,
Namwamba has proved to be a force to reckon
in Western with his “crowd pulling” skills and
capability, which has seen him take ODM by
storm.
So Luhyas stop looking in the wrong direction
and support Namwamba for the Presidency
because he could be the one prophesied by
Elijah Masinde.
Could he be the 5th Kenyan President and first
Luhya President for that matter?
